There are many ways to wear pink that won’t make you look like a little girl. Pink was probably your favorite color at some point during your childhood. What little girl doesn’t love pink, right? However, you don’t have to simply decide you’ve outgrown the color. By using grown-up ways to wear pink, you can still rock your favorite color and look like the beautiful grown up you are.

Blush

A bit of pink blush is perfect for giving your style a good dose of pink. It’s also one of the easiest ways to wear pink. Simply brush a lovely pink shade on the apples of your cheeks and you’ll have a beautiful glow while also sporting your favorite color. Use a large make-up brush to apply it evenly so you don’t look blotchy.

Nail Polish

Painting your nails is a great way to wear pink. You can try out shades that range from petal pink to magenta to neon pink. Mix and match your favorite pinks to create glamorous manicures you can pull off with anything you’re wearing. Pink looks great with most skin tones, but it’s also pretty affordable so you can just get a new bottle if you don’t like the one you picked.

Jewelry

If you don’t want to rock pink from head to toe, consider wearing a bit of pink jewelry. Add a pair of pink earrings, a couple of bracelets or a necklace in your favorite shade of pink. It matches black, orange, yellow, green and pretty much any color you happen to be wearing.

A Coat

If you want to stand out, a pink coat is a great way to do so. After all, most people select a more neutral shade when they bundle up for cold weather. That doesn’t mean you can’t kill it with a pink coat though. Look for one with a cut and style that flatters your body shape and that you absolutely love. I promise you won’t be lacking in compliments when you go out and about with your fabulous pink coat on.

5

Hair

If you have a super conservative job, this is probably a trend you want to avoid. However, if you can wear your hair however you like, pink is a fun color to try. I’ve seen adult women with pink hair all over the place and each looks just as beautiful as the last. Gone are the days when bright colors of hair were only for punk rockers. If you don’t want to go full on pink, try adding just a few highlights in the color. You’re going to love it!

Famous Quotes

Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.

Little Pink Dress

Do you pull out your little black dress all the time? It’s time to start a trend in your social circle that revolves around the little pink dress. There are so many great options out there, so go ahead and have some fun with your wardrobe. I know there are times when black is probably a more appropriate choice, but sometimes it’s just fun to wear something bright and attention getting.

Shoes

What could possibly be more fun than a pair of pink shoes? They look great with so many neutral colors, including brown, grey, black and navy blue, so if you can’t get away with a hot pink business suit, how about adding a great pair of pink stilettos? If you tend toward more casual looks, try out a pair of pink sandals or boots to match your outfit to your fantastic personality.

What’s your favorite way to wear pink? Which of these ideas will you try first?
