Don’t you hate to drift off to sleep only to be woken by a notification on your phone? And most of the time, it’s nothing you care about anyways! Silence your phone so you can get a solid block of sleep. One complaint people who work midnights commonly have is how difficult it is to get back to sleep after being woken up. If silencing your phone makes you feel unnerved then at least be selective in what notifications you allow.
