7 Reasons to Love Your Pale Skin ...

By Alison

There are lots of reasons to love your pale skin, if that's what nature blessed you with. Yet many pale-skinned people think that their natural skin color is ugly, and spend time and money changing their skin tone with fake tan. Or worse still, they risk their health by tanning in the sun. Yet there's absolutely nothing wrong with being pale. Here are some of the reasons to love your pale skin …

It's Natural

It's Natural One of the top reasons to love your pale skin is that it's your natural skin color. What's so wrong with being the way you are? Your skin is this color for a reason - that your ancestors come from a colder country. So wherever you live now, it's wise to be careful in the sun and stick to your natural pale skin. It's fine to be pale, it really is.

UPD:

Pale skin has many benefits that are often overlooked. For one, pale skin is more resistant to sun damage than darker skin. This means that people with pale skin are less likely to develop skin cancer or age spots. Additionally, pale skin often looks younger than darker skin, making it a great choice for people who want to look young and vibrant.

Pale skin also reflects light more than darker skin, which can be beneficial in some circumstances. For example, people with pale skin often appear more radiant in photos because the light reflects off their skin more than it does off of darker skin. This makes pale skin a great choice for people who want to look their best in photos.

Another benefit of pale skin is that it is less likely to suffer from hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation is a condition in which patches of skin become darker than the surrounding areas. People with pale skin are less likely to develop this condition, which can be caused by sun exposure, hormone imbalances, and even certain medications.

Striking

Striking Pale skin can look very striking, especially if you have darker hair. I love my combination of pale skin, blue eyes and darker hair. This kind of contrast is much more flattering than a fake tan. So many women cover themselves with fake tan that it makes them look like everyone else. Wouldn't you rather look like an individual, instead of looking like a fake-tanned clone?

UPD:

Pale skin has been associated with beauty and elegance for centuries. In fact, in ancient times, having pale skin was a sign of wealth and status. Today, many women still strive for a pale complexion, as it is seen as a desirable and unique trait. Furthermore, pale skin is less prone to sun damage and wrinkles, making it a healthier option in the long run. Additionally, pale skin can make features such as blue or green eyes and darker hair stand out, creating a striking and eye-catching appearance. Embracing your natural pale skin can make you stand out in a sea of fake tans, and showcase your individuality and confidence.

Love Your Own Skin

Love Your Own Skin Do you think that hating someone because they have darker skin is wrong? You should do. So why dislike your own skin because it's pale? Why not love yourself as you are? Although it's nowhere near as serious as racism, this underlying dislike of pale skin is still worrying. Pale-skinned women are made fun of and told they look ill, or convince themselves that it looks awful. It's ridiculous. Love your skin, whatever its shade.

UPD:

Embracing the unique beauty of pale skin is crucial in a society that often idolizes tanned looks. Fair skin possesses its own ethereal charm that deserves celebration, not criticism. It's high time to challenge the stereotypes and shift the conversation towards acceptance and self-love. Your skin tone doesn't dictate your beauty. Remember that every hue on the human spectrum holds its own allure and story. Cherish the natural canvas you’ve been graced with and allow it to bolster your confidence. Own your paleness with pride—it's a part of who you are, and it's absolutely beautiful.

Wanting to Be Different?

Wanting to Be Different? We are all the color we are for a reason. Yet women with lighter skin want to darken theirs, and women with darker skin wish theirs was lighter. It's crazy. Every skin color is beautiful. It's a waste of energy to wish that your skin color was different. You are what you are.

History

History You may think that a tan is desirable and looks better, but the popularity of tanning is a relatively recent thing. Not so long ago, women went to great lengths to avoid a tan, as only the lower classes were tanned! They would cover themselves up, wear a hat, and carry a parasol to shield themselves from the sun. Now we'll do anything to get a tan. It's just our perception that's changed.

Famous Quotes

To give oneself earnestly to the duties due to men, and, while respecting spiritual beings, to keep aloof from them, may be called wisdom.

Avoid Premature Aging

Avoid Premature Aging Sunbathing may make you look good (or so you think), but that short-term gain will cost you in the long run. Someone who's a sun-worshipper will age much faster than someone who stays in the shade. We all have to age in the end, but why give yourself wrinkles before your time?

Faking It is a Pain

Faking It is a Pain Finally, the idea of using fake tan is a pain to me. Even if I wanted to get a tanned look, I don't think I could be bothered with all the hassle. The time it takes, the expense, the smell, the tan lines … just not worth it in my book.

So if you're naturally pale, realise that there's nothing wrong with it and ignore any rude comments. Pale is just as beautiful as any other. Are you 'pale but interesting,' or do you reach for the bronzer?

This is really funny because fake tanners are one of the most bought products in the U.S. People want nice tans not pale skin. Back in the day people who had tan skin where known to being able to afford expensive vacations. I was born with pale skin and you can see my veins it's really nasty! I personally like to tan because it makes me feel more attractive. It hides my blemishes and I don't have to wear much make up. Also having a darker skin color makes colored eyes pop out more. Why do you think Victoria's Secret models have tans 😍

Another post seething with a world that favors white above all, this is tasteless and shadist, and above all ignorant of white privilege

I agree with you duje v

Totally agree with the reasons, just, what is wrong with the pictures?! Especially the first the pics make no sense.

Sorry, I saw a comment that this @CAT character posted so I went to see what else she commented on just to see if she's as immature as she makes herself seem. The verdict is in. I just read this article and comments. What is racist about this?! I believe the writer made note of not bashing any skin color. Mainly told us to all embrace who we are, no matter what skin color. Do people just WANT to see everything as racism? Does anyone even perceive or interpret things correctly?! Like can you guys even read and comprehend correctly if you seriously think this is racist?! ....I mean the author did note that she has fair skin. So uh, hello, that's how she's relating to fair-skinned women. Not like she said, "pale women are the best in bed. We're the most attractive. We can do everything." I feel like that's what some "smart" people interpreted when they read this... GET OVER YOURSELF PEOPLE!!!!!!!

Oops caps was on

We'll I'm sorry neecey for my super super rude comment that was just saying that this article was very offending and was not thought out. Man, I think I just started a war! Maybe you should tell your writer buddy to think over what she is writing before she actually writes it.

I'm a red head and naturally pale. It's my preference to stay that way. Tanning does in fact age you but it all boils down to being happy with who you are. I don't care if i glow in the dark and those who make fun of me for it... Don't you have better things to do than be a bully? Tan or not, be a good person.

This article is ridiculous, I don't understand why this is made when our society favors pale skin. This should article should have not been made.

I'm tan girl pale is beautiful too :)
