1

Choose Your Timing

The first of the ways to have a relaxing bath is choosing your timing. Do not try this when your children are awake if they are under the teenage years. If you do, your bath is sure to be interrupted by little knocks or notes pushed under the door. Additionally, it is best to choose a time when you will be uninterrupted by all other things and people, as well. Being interrupted is not conducive to relaxing.

2

Light Candles

A bath is so much lovelier when you have a couple of lit candles and dim lighting. It just seems to soothe the soul. This is especially true if it is a fragrance you enjoy. You can just relax so much better without a bright light shining in your eyes. Just be careful that you place your candles on a safe, level surface.

3

Add a Favorite Bath Product

Add a favorite bath product to your bath like a bath oil or bath salts. Even a handful of Epsom Salts can add to the enjoyment of a bath. The point is that you want something that will smell nice or help you relax your muscles. Bath oil is usually preferable over bath salts because they help your skin while they make your bath smell nice. Your skin will feel smooth and silky afterwards.

4

Turn Some Music on or Read a Book

Turn on some music or read a book while you soak. The choice of this is up to you and whatever you most enjoy. For me, I always enjoyed soaking in a nice warm tub of water while reading a good book. One little tip, though. Be careful not to drop your book in the water!

5

Fix a Favorite Beverage

Bring a favorite beverage in with you. It is nice to reach for a glass of iced tea or your favorite coffee beverage while you relax. It just ups the pleasure factor even more. It is not fun to get in the middle of a very relaxing bath and suddenly realize that you are thirsty. This way, you have something to drink at your disposal.

Famous Quotes

To give oneself earnestly to the duties due to men, and, while respecting spiritual beings, to keep aloof from them, may be called wisdom.

6

Invest in a Bath Pillow

If you do not have a bath pillow, you must purchase one. A bath is not a bath without a bath pillow. They make so much difference in how well you can relax. If you do not have one, you can actually try rolling up a towel in a pinch. It just makes it so much easier to lean back comfortably.

7

Enjoy Your Favorite Lotion

If you are like a lot of women, you do not have time to apply body lotion every single day. Body lotion really needs to be a follow up to your bath to totally feel relaxed. Take time to apply your favorite fragrance. You will feel so much better and your skin will feel so soft afterwards. It is worth that additional few minutes.

These 7 suggestions will help you to have a lovely and relaxing bath. What do you do to make your bath perfect? I would love to hear from you.
