Cosmetic tattoo brows completed using the microblade or microstroke technique, are not as permanent. They are really to be considered as a semi-permanent answer and usually last around 12 months before a retouch is required.

During the treatment, after a brow consultation, the new brow shape outline is penciled on the brow area. Then the area is numbed and pigment is implanted into the skin, using very tiny needle strokes. They are built up into the new shape and the area is gradually made denser with lots of tiny hairstrokes, depending on the desired result. One, two or even three different shades of pigment can be used, creating a single, double or even triple layer brow tattoo. A typical appointment is around 2 hours, but the actual microblading only happens in the last 15 to 30 minutes.

The treated brows are usually a little tender after the procedure, and the color a little darker than the healed result. Don't worry, they are not so dark as to be unsightly. Normal activities, like work and socializing can generally be resumed the same day. Your brows will lighten considerably to a softer tone over the next 10-14 days. The first couple of days are the most important, because the inscisions are still open. Until they start to heal you want to make sure, you are not getting the brows wet or soaking them.
