Chill a Couple of Spoons and Press Them to Your Eyes

This is my favorite method because it’s easy and won’t cost you anything to do. When you get up, pop a couple of spoons in to the freezer. Let them chill for a couple of minutes, then gently press the spoons to the puffy areas for about two minutes. The cold will help reduce the puffiness in no time.

Soak Cotton Balls in Hot Salt Water and Press to Your Eyes

It might sound weird, but hot water also works on puffy eyes when it’s mixed with salt. The salt helps draw out the fluid that causes puffy eyes. If you prefer warmth in the morning over cold, this is really easy. Combine a ¼ teaspoon salt with 2 cups hot water. Soak cotton balls in the mixture and press them to your eyes. Lie down and let them work for about 10 minutes.

Use Chilled Strawberries on under Eye Circles

Got a couple of cold strawberries in the fridge? You’re in luck because they contain a natural form of alpha hydroxy acid, which helps smooth skin and reduce puffiness. Cut a large strawberry in half and press the cut sides to your puffy eyes. Leave them there for several minutes, then rinse the residual off your face.

Try a Couple of Tea Bags on Your Eyes

If you drink tea in the morning, don’t toss those tea bags in the trash. Save them for your puffy eyes. Lie down and press a tea bag to the puffy area. Stay still and let them do their magic or about 15 minutes. You can safely do this a couple of times per day to keep puffiness at bay.

Apply a Bit of Aloe Vera Gel to the Puffy Areas

Aloe vera gel is well known for being soothing and easy to use. It’s also great for reducing swelling and puffiness. Use a small dab of the gel under both eyes, using caution not to get it into your eyes. The gel feels good going on and will have you looking unpuffy in no time.

If you would take, you must first give, this is the beginning of intelligence.

Chill Some Cucumbers and Lay Them over Your Eyes

This classic trick is one you can never go wrong with. Grab a cucumber from the fridge and cut off a couple of thick slices. Lie down somewhere comfortable and lay the slices over your eyes. Leave them in place until they stop being cold. Repeat as necessary.

Try Potato Slices Instead of Cucumbers

Don’t have any cucumbers? Raw potato slices work just as well. Cut the potato into thick slices and then chill them for several minutes. Lay the slices over your eyes and rest until they aren’t chilled anymore. You can do this as many times as it takes to get rid of the puffiness.

Have you ever tried any of these techniques? What other ways do you fight puffy eyes?

I was really impressed while I was going through this wonderful article regarding How to Reduce Puffy Eyes. These amazing tricks will perk you up. I also have some related tips on this topic. Soak two tea bags in warm water, and then chill the bags for a few minutes in the refrigerator. Place one tea bag on each eye for five minutes, and your eyes will feel fresh. For many people, tiredness causes dark circles under the eyes and that can add years to their appearance. If you can’t catch up on your rest, place slices of ripe avocado under each eye, or try applying a paste of ground almonds and milk to lighten the dark shadows. Hope these tips will help you.
