Lush

Lush is well known for their focus on fresh handmade products with completely natural ingredients, so it's no surprise that they also have a strict no animal testing policy and only buy raw materials from companies that aren't involved in or commission the use of animals for testing. Best known for their sweet smelling bath-bombs and soaps, Lush is your one-stop shop for all cruelty-free beauty products.

Body Shop

Similar to Lush, all of the ingredients in Body Shop's products are ethically sourced and strictly cruelty free. Body Shop was the first global cosmetics company to start campaigning to end animal testing in cosmetics. Following their sustained campaign, the UK government banned animal testing of cosmetic products and ingredients. Although they're probably more known for their skincare products (And easy christmas gifts for girls, am I right?), it also has a good range of makeup products, catering to both your makeup and skincare needs.

NYX

Not only is NYX a staple in the makeup bags of anyone obsessed with beauty — and on a budget (Anyone else obsessed with their matte lippies?), the company has also been a humble but committed member of PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies program since 2010. Despite being acquired by L’Oréal - a company that sells in China where tests on animals are required, NYX still remained completely cruelty-free under L’Oréal’s ownership and has even begun labeling some of their makeup as vegan.

bareMinerals is best known for their makeup products that are 'so pure, you can sleep in it'. A coat of bareMinerals' Original Foundation will help you master that no-makeup makeup look. Not only are their makeup products good for your skin, but you can also feel at ease using bareMinerals products knowing that they do not test on animals or work with any manufacturers that do animal testing. bareMinerals' natural haired brushes are made of Goat and Pony, but no animals are harmed in the process of making our brushes.
