Skin care/make up counters have really gotten stingey with giving out samples, even when your purchase paid for their salary for the month! One very reputable brand didn't do samples! She was going to borrow a Lil plastic cup from another counter to let me sample a new product, then, unprofessionally said she wasn't comfortable asking for a sample cup! C'mon!

Is it bad that I use an Olay Pro X? It doesn't really tug at my skin but it more harsh than just using your fingers...

I was told never to wash your face in the mornings as your skin produce vital oils while you sleep so I just clean my eyes in the morning and wash it before bed.
