Salmon

Salmon Salmon is one of the best foods that clear up acne, of all other foods. Salmon is a rich source of Omega 3 fatty acids, which not only help to rid the body of acne, but also elevate your mood and stabilize your hormones. Your mood and hormones can greatly affect acne. When you’re stressed and anxious, your hormones are all over the place and the stress hormone cortisol can affect everything from your mood to your appetite, and also cause you to breakout. Salmon’s healthy fats and rich protein help to build collagen in the skin and keep your cells supple and moist. Eat salmon for a youthful glow; just be sure to buy Wild Alaskan salmon to avoid pollutants and pesticides. Salmon is also rich in B vitamins, zinc, and Vitamin E, which help to repair skin and renew cell growth.

2

Spinach

Spinach Spinach is my favorite green for many reasons, but mainly because it is a great food to get rid of acne pronto! Spinach is sweet, tender, easy to add to anything, and it is also rich in Vitamin E, iron and protein. All of these nutrients help the blood flow to your skin, fight off inflammation that causes acne, and help the skin maintain healthy collagen levels, which make your skin look youthful, tight and clear. I add spinach to salads, green smoothies, and omelets most often, but use it however you like!

UPD:

Spinach is a superfood that is packed with vitamins and minerals, making it a great choice for those looking to clear up acne. It is rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, folate, iron, and protein. Vitamin C helps to reduce inflammation, Vitamin A helps to regulate sebum production, Vitamin E helps to protect the skin from free radicals, and folate helps to repair skin cells. Iron helps to keep skin cells healthy and protein helps to maintain collagen levels, which can help to keep skin looking youthful and tight.

Spinach is a versatile food that can be added to salads, smoothies, omelets, and more. It has a sweet and tender flavor that makes it a great addition to any meal. Not only is spinach good for clearing up acne, but it can also help to reduce the risk of other skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

It is important to note that eating spinach alone will not clear up acne. It is important to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle in order to achieve the best results. Eating spinach in combination with other healthy foods and proper skin care can help to clear up acne and keep skin looking healthy and radiant.

Almonds

Almonds Almonds are rich in Vitamin E, magnesium, B vitamins, and more. Almonds are wonderful for your skin, and they contain lots of fiber and less calories per serving than other nuts. Walnuts are another great nut for your skin, but I always choose almonds because they have so many wonderful nutrients and are easy to digest. Almond milk is also a great source of these nutrients if you choose unsweetened varieties.

4

Hemp and Chia Seeds

Hemp and Chia Seeds Hemp and chia seeds are so awesome for your skin. Both are filled with protein, healthy fats, Vitamin E, and B vitamins. They are also loaded with fiber and contain no sugar. The fats are Omega 3 and Omega 6 fats, which are wonderful for your skin, weight, metabolism, heart and your mood. Add 1-2 tbsp. per day and you’ll be on your way to pretty skin in no time! I love adding these seeds to smoothies, tossed onto salads, or added to homemade fruit and nut bars.

5

Coconut Oil

Coconut Oil Coconut in general is a wonderful food for acne because it is an antiviral and an anti-fungal food. It fights off harmful bacteria in all areas of the body, and helps nourish the good bacteria in our bodies that fight off illness on their own. Coconut oil is also great for your thyroid and metabolism, which is a nice little bonus. Buy virgin coconut oil, and from an organic source if you can. Don’t fear this oil; it is your skin and body’s BFF. I also use coconut oil as a moisturizer and acne cream. I just rub it all over my face after showering morning and night, and my skin is acne free, soft and youthful.

UPD:

Coconut oil is one of the best natural ingredients for acne treatment. It contains lauric acid, which is an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agent that helps reduce the appearance of acne. Coconut oil is also rich in antioxidants, which help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals. Additionally, it is a great moisturizer that helps keep skin hydrated and prevent further breakouts.

Coconut oil is also beneficial for the body as a whole. It helps boost the metabolism and supports the thyroid, which can help reduce stress levels and improve overall health. The oil is also rich in vitamins A, C, and E, which help nourish and protect the skin.

Coconut oil can be used in a variety of ways to treat acne. It can be applied directly to the skin or added to a face mask or scrub. It can also be used as a moisturizer, acne cream, or makeup remover. When purchasing coconut oil, it is important to look for organic, virgin coconut oil to ensure the highest quality and effectiveness.

Cucumbers

Cucumbers Cucumbers are so wonderful for your skin, but especially for getting rid of acne. Most people think cucumbers are just a watery diet food found in boring restaurant salads, but these gems are so much more! The skin of cucumbers holds the secret to their acne fighting power. Their skins are rich in silica, which is a beauty mineral that prevents acne, treats breakouts, keeps skin youthful, and maintains healthy collagen levels in the skin. Choose organic cucumbers so you can avoid the unhealthy pesticides in conventional cucumbers for the healthiest option. The water in cucumbers also hydrates your skin, and keeps away dryness that can lead to breakouts.

7

Chickpeas

Chickpeas If you’re vegan and don’t want to eat fish, then be sure to eat lots of chickpeas, also known as garbanzo beans. Chickpeas are rich in zinc, which fights off infections that lead to illness and to acne. Chickpeas are also high in iron, B vitamins, protein and they are low in fat. They are also high in fiber, which stabilizes your blood sugar levels. When your blood sugar is out of balance, you may not only crave unhealthy foods, but your stress hormones also become elevated, which leads to breakouts. Add chickpeas to salads, stir-fry, or buy low sodium hummus, which is made of chickpeas.

8

Spirulina

Spirulina Hear me out now on this one, girls! Spirulina is such a wonderful beauty food, especially for getting rid of acne. Spirulina is a deep water algae seafood that is available as a deep green powder. One teaspoon has 880% of your daily Vitamin A levels, and 70% of your daily B12 requirements. Vitamin A is your acne's worst nightmare, and the anti-acne medication Accutane is actually made of a chemical version of Vitamin A. I say, just eat your vitamins! Spirulina also contains 4 grams of protein in one teaspoon, making it the highest protein food per serving of any other food. I don’t like eating this powder plain, so I find adding it to a smoothie each day sweetened with stevia or fruit completely masks the taste and still gives me the benefits.

UPD:

Spirulina is a powerful superfood that has been used for centuries in traditional medicine. It is high in antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and essential fatty acids which can help to reduce inflammation and improve skin health. It is also rich in chlorophyll, which is known to help detoxify the body and promote healing.

Studies have shown that spirulina can help fight acne by reducing inflammation and limiting the production of sebum, the oily substance that clogs pores and causes breakouts. It can also help to reduce redness and irritation associated with acne.

In addition to being beneficial for acne, spirulina can also help to improve overall skin health. It is rich in essential fatty acids which can help to keep skin hydrated and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It also contains vitamins A, B, and E, which can help to protect skin from free radical damage and promote cell regeneration.

9

Orange Produce

Orange Produce If you want to add beauty foods to your diet, be sure to eat all the orange produce you can get your hands on! Carrots, winter squash, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and cantaloupe are rich in Vitamin A in the form of beta carotene. Beta carotene is acne’s lifelong enemy, so fill up on these foods to not only cure your acne, but also to give you a nice, natural glow. I like eating carrots in salads, adding canned pumpkin to smoothies, roasting sweet potatoes and squash, and love eating cantaloupe in the summer. Eat one of these foods per day and you’ll be on your way to better skin in no time.

10

Acai Berries

Acai Berries Did you know that besides raw cacao and maqui berries, the acai berry is the number one food highest in antioxidants of any other food? Antioxidants found in these acai berries are wonderful for curing acne. I like adding 1 teaspoon of acai powder or a frozen pack of acai puree to my smoothies. Acai berries are wonderful for your skin, heart, weight, and your mood. They are also filled with Omega 3 fatty acids, which help to nourish the skin. One pricey bag of powder may sound steep, but it actually contains about 2 months' worth of servings since you only need 1 tsp. or even ½ tsp. per day to notice a difference. These berries also give you lots of energy, which is a nice bonus. On a tight budget? Buy frozen blueberries, which are the next best source of a few of these same nutrients.

As a general guide, avoiding sugar, processed foods, high glycemic carbs, unhealthy fats, fast food and dairy will give you clearer skin faster than anything. Subtract the bad stuff and add these 10 foods to cure acne to your diet instead. You’ll feel better and your skin will be glowing in no time. You can also ditch the pricey creams and gels, which are a pain to deal with anyway. Do you have any favorite foods that have helped you get rid of acne?

Can u pl tell about ways or foods to eat that remove blackheads cus I have specs and the is a line of blackheads on my nose

I love this app, although I do find it quite frustrating that so many of your posts contradict one another. This post says salmon clears up acne and a few days ago there was a post saying salmon is a cause of acne. I've also read in one post eye creams and wrinkle creams will never work and then many posts talk about how you should use them. It's making it annoying because I used to go by advice given on here, and now I just don't know what to believe

How often should you eat these? I have been eating carrots for years now, just about every day. Everything else is just once in a while. Oh and I cannot eat salmon.
