1. Face Toner
One of the best uses for rose water is adding it to your skin routine as a facial toner. Rose water will help in reducing inflammation, such as puffy eyes, tightening your pores, balancing your skin and softening fine lines. Mist it directly onto cleansed skin or use a cotton ball and gently sweep it across your face.
2. Bedsheet Spray
Who doesn't love fresh-smelling sheets? One of the most relaxing things ever is crawling into a clean, freshly-made bed with crisp sheets! I use a lavender dryer sachet that leaves a subtle hint of lavender behind, but it would be even lovelier to spritz rose water onto sheets and pillow covers for a relaxing garden smell.

3. Rose-Flavored Lemonade
If you've ever had tea with rose hips, you know how wonderful rose can be as a culinary additive. I love flavored lemonade in the summer, particularly unique flavors like rose! It's mild, refreshing and doesn't taste like perfume at all. Plus, lemon and rose work really well together so you're bound to enjoy this delicious beverage!
4. Almonds & Pistachios
Many recipes, particularly Eastern ones that call for almonds or pistachios, will have rose water as well! The flavors blend really well and work in cookies, pastries and other desserts. Be careful not to overuse rose water, which can be overpowering, but use just the right amount for both the scent and taste of rose that delightfully fills your senses.
5. After-Shampoo Rinse for Healthy Hair
Rose water has antiseptic properties that will soothe dry scalp irritation and get rid of dandruff. You can add it to your shampoo or simply use it as a diluted rinse! It will help stimulate hair growth, leave your hair shiny and your strands will have a light and lovely fresh scent.
6. Bath Water Tonic
Most girls love a warm bath with essential oils and candles under low light. It's the ideal remedy for relaxing and de-stressing after a long day or week! Kick it up a notch and add a few capfuls of rose water to your bath to enhance your aromatherapy experience.
7. Fragrant Mist or Lotion Additive
Rose water doesn't leave a strong scent behind or for very long, so it's a great pick-me-up in the summer when you don't want to smell too perfumy but do want to feel refreshed! You can also add it to your body lotion and cream as a fragrant additive.
Rose water is ideal for many purposes, but my favorite definitely has to be when it's used as a toner! The refreshing feel and invigorating scent can't be beat. What are some of your favorite uses for rose water?
