1 Toss the Tweezers

The very first lesson in how to regrow over-plucked eyebrows is to halt all tweezing and waxing for at least a month or two to let your hair follicles head and recover. I know this is asking a lot of you, but it’s best to give the hair removal a break for awhile and start over again. If you can’t stand seeing stray hairs, it’s okay to pluck above your brow line and between your brows but nothing else!

2 Supplement with Supplements

Another one of the easy ways to regrow eyebrows is to take vitamins. Vitamin A, B6, C, E and Biotin all help the body to grow hair and nails. You can easily get your dose of these vitamins with foods like carrots, green leafy vegetables, fruits, nuts and brown rice or you can always pop a vitamin in the morning to help ensure you’re getting your fill of these vitamins and nutrients to promote new hair growth.

3 Water It down

Another important step in how to regrow over-plucked eyebrows is to be sure you are properly hydrated by drinking lots of water! Drinking plenty of water will help ensure your hair is hydrated and healthy to help it to grow back faster and stronger. Drinking water and staying hydrated is great for your skin as well as a host of other things like healthy skin so drink up!

4 Engage in Massage Therapy

One of the little known ways to regrow eyebrows is to massage the eyebrow area with a small amount of olive, coconut or castor oil. Grab a fine eyebrow brush and dip it into the oil of your choice and massage the oil into the direction your hairs are growing and make this part of your daily routine. This technique helps to enhance the growth of your brows while strengthening the hair.

5 Fake the Fringe

Perhaps the most commonly utilized and effortless method in how to regrow over-plucked eyebrows is to fill in gaps in your eyebrows using makeup. Whether you choose an eyebrow pencil or brow powder, be sure to use light strokes to fake hair growth and avoid drawing one long line unless you’re fond of the Sharpie eyebrow look! If you’re missing a lot of hair and need guidance on how to shape your brows, try using an eyebrow stencil or consult a professional.

6 Prime with Protein

Another home remedy to regrow eyebrows is to include lots of protein in your diet. Your hair is made up of mostly protein so it’s important to pump up your protein intake while you’re trying to regrow your eyebrows. Excessive caffeine, sugar and fat can hinder hair growth so try to limit your intake of those items while you’re in the process of growing out your eyebrows.

7 Just Beat It

One of the more interesting ways to regrow eyebrows involves using egg yolk. Yes girls, you read that right! Grab an egg and separate the white from the yolk and beat the yolk. Grab a cotton ball or pad and soak it in the egg yolk and apply to your eyebrow are for 10-15 minutes. You can also use milk and raw onion juice the same way to help improve your hair follicles and regrow brows!

8 Get Clinical

thinking of the book angus, thongs, and full frontal snogging right now.

Being a hairstylist I feel the need to educate others about the dangers of rogain. Rogain is bad. Rogain is all fine and dandy when your hair is growing back and you finally get your hair (or eyebrows for this matter) back to the lenghth or fullness you want. However, after you stop using it the rogain exits your bloodstream along with the chemicals thats helped grow your hair. After that has happened, your follicle will basically weaken and your hair will fall out. A great alternative to Rogain is the Bvitamin Biotin. Its great for Hair, Skin, and nails. Results will be more noticeable within 3 months.

I have been using castor oil nightly for over a year now. My brows are growing back....sloooooowly. I'm a vitamin freak and live on those veggies mentioned. I would have tried the Rogain until I read the second comment and decided against it (thanks , Etteril!). Eyebrows just seem to taker forever to grow back.

What dosage of biotin would you recommend?
