1

Hit the Grocery Store and Buy Some Castor Oil

This old school remedy works wonders for your brows. All you have to do is gently massage it into your brows. This stimulates the blood flow and encourages healthy growth. The best way to do this is to apply the oil at night, then allow it to work while you sleep, rinsing it off in the morning. Look for castor oil in the first aid or health section of your supermarket.

2

Juice an Onion in Your Kitchen

Sounds weird, right? Well, according to experts, onion juice is rich in sulfur, which encourages your brows to grow and fill in. Grind a small onion and massage the juice into your brows. Allow it to sit for five minutes, then rinse. If this causes irritation, skip it and try something else.

3

Rub on a Small Dab of Petroleum Jelly

Also known as Vaseline, this product works because it conditions and moisturizes your brows. When your brow area is healthy and hydrated, it’s better at giving you the brows you want. As a bonus, Vaseline helps keep stray brow hairs in place for a polished and healthy look. You only need a small bit or you’ll wind up looking shiny.

4

Load Your Plate with Orange and Yellow Foods

Foods that are orange or yellow in color are high in vitamin A, which your body needs to grow healthy hair, including the hair in your brow area. The vitamins are found in healthy foods, so if your diet is more junk than fruits and vegetables, making this switch is easy and should produce results in a just a couple of weeks. Bell peppers, carrots, cantaloupe and sweet potatoes are perfect choices.

5

Have Some Sunflower Seeds for a Snack

Why? Because they are loaded with vitamin E, a nutrient that promotes healthy hair, skin and nails. Since your brows are hair, they benefit from increasing your intake. Roasted sunflower seeds make a great snack because they give you energy and they taste good. If you can benefit your brows at the same time, why not give them a try? Opt for the unsalted version to keep sodium intake under control.

Famous Quotes

Men in general judge more from appearances than from reality. All men have eyes, but few have the gift of penetration.

6

Crack an Egg and Separate the Yolk

Eating eggs is great for your health, but the yolks are also especially powerful when it comes to promoting hair growth in your brow area. Once you have the yolk separated, whip it until creamy. Then coat your entire brow with the yolk and let it go to work for about 15 minutes before rinsing. This method infuses the area with protein, which is one of the building blocks of healthy hair.

7

Stop Waxing or Plucking Right Now

Contrary to what you’ve heard, this doesn’t promote hair growth. All it does is thin out your brows and keep you from getting the look you want. Sure, get rid of stray hairs so you look polished, but give the rest of your brows a chance to grow and shape the way you want them.

How do you keep your brows thick and healthy? Will you try any of these valuable ideas?

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

I have been using castor oil for over 3 years. There are still spots that have no hair. I feel over plucking when I was younger ruined them and there's no hope.

Vitamin E, is really good. I've been using Vaseline for about two years for 4/days a week. With great results and I tried wiping a finger tip worth of vitamin E, like three days in a row and the results were amazing, I totally have Marlene Dietrich eyebrows now!

I definately recommend the castor oil method it works. I've been using it on my brows which were over plucked but thankfully have grown back thanks to the oil

I have been using castor oil over night, and it did work but still in some places in eyebrow no hair came out. I think I'll try using it again only on the spots that i need hair

Haha I definately don't need to grow thicker eyebrows

I personally think this eyebrow trend at the moment is ridiculous. Some people are taking it over the top and look like clowns.

Vaseline works for me

I'm so trying the Castro oil; I don't know about the onion. Lol!

I rub on vitamin e at night

@sharon.. Thanks! I'm only half done with the bottle, so I'll keep going.
