Eggs Make the Perfect Deep Conditioner for Your Hair

How many times have you spent $25 on a deep conditioner only to find out the results are minimal at best? Eggs are just pennies in comparison and can give you the deep conditioning treatment you’ve been searching for. The instructions are very easy to follow. Simply whip them up, apply to your hair, let dry and rinse out. The amount of eggs you need depends on the length and thickness of your hair.

2

Cucumber Slices Are the Perfect De-puffing Agent

This is a trick that women have used for decades. If you’ve had a hard day or cried a lot, you need something cool and calming to apply to your swollen eyes. Cucumber slices are just the thing. Simply place them on your closed eyes, lie back and let them do the work. They feel wonderful and take the puffiness away.

3

Brown Sugar and Olive Oil Make the Perfect Body Scrub

I have a slight addiction to body scrubs. I think they feel wonderful and leave you with soft, smooth skin. There’s no need to shell out money when you can make one from the all-natural ingredients that you have in your kitchen. Simply mix equal parts of brown sugar and olive oil and you’ll have a luxurious, yummy smelling body scrub to enjoy. It may even replace the current favorite you have in your bathroom.

Lemons Are a Great Skin Brightener for Age Spots

Age spots showing up? That’s never any fun. But you don’t have to simply accept them and go on. Lemons are a great skin brightener and work wonderfully at reducing age spots. Do be careful not to get any of the lemon juice in your eyes, though.

Baking Soda is the Best Teeth Whitener

Long before there were Crest Whitestrips and other bleaching methods, there was baking soda. And you know what? It works wonderfully. I grew up watching my mother dip her toothbrush into baking soda and giving her teeth a good brushing. It’s an efficient method of whitening your teeth that’s also economical and something you probably already have on hand.

Sliced Potatoes Are Wonderful at Reducing Acne

When I was a teenager, I discovered this little trick. A slice of potato can actually help reduce an acne flare up. It works because all the good stuff in potatoes like potassium and the starch help reduce swelling. It also shortens the duration of a pimple by drying it up. It sounds funny, but it actually works.

Rhiannon is right. Please do some actual research before advising people to ruin their skin and teeth.

I've never heard the potato thing, thank you!

Baking soda wears away you're enamel and lemons can make your skin darker and really isn't safe for your skin. Also, the castor oil comment, the only thing that will make your lashes grow is Latisse and oils will trap bacteria ultimately resulting in an eye infection. But everything is is pretty spot on, I use coconut oil for a multitude of things and I especially love using it on my hair

I use coconut oil for my skin and especially my nails.

Ahh I've tried the egg thing. Ended up with stinky hair and scrambled egg in my hair. *obvious tip - use cold water to wash the egg out*. Haha

Avocado! Great for hair and skin, and honey and lemon for skin, and even paw paw for skin!!

u forogot vinegar

Coconut Oil is my only moisturizer, shaving cream, toothpaste, facial scrub, make up remover, smoothy additive, cuticle softener, nail strengthener, night cream. Every time I find another coconut oil idea I try it. No more spending hundreds of dollars on creams or wrinkle removers for me coconut oil does it all.

Nice tips.... Thnx
