I don’t know if you have noticed, but men can sometimes be a confusing and unpredictable species! In terms of attraction, what one guy finds hot another might find to be a turnoff ... I guess it just depends on who you meet and what you are like as a person! However, it’s fair to say that there are few universal things across the board that we can assume the majority are not fans of. Here are ten things men find unattractive.

1. Crazy Hair
We might love our intricate and crazy hairstyles, but men don’t tend to respond to high fashion in the same way! They can sometimes be put off by quirky, non traditional styles, so keep that in mind for dates!
2. Heavy Foundation
Men don’t always understand the intricacies of makeup, so whilst we are putting on a thick layer of foundation to cover up blemishes and sort out pigmentation, it can look to him like a thick film of clown makeup!
3. Glitter
To lots of guys, glitter in your makeup conjures up images of much younger girls, young teens experimenting with the latest trends. On the whole, it seems like they prefer grown woman to have more mature makeup.
4. Gummy Lashes
To be fair, this is something that woman should dislike just as much as men! A bad mascara application can clump your lashes up in a really unattractive way. Not ideal when you want to be making lots of eye contact.
If you're in the relentless hunt for the perfect mascara, that not only volumizes but also gives your lashes the much-needed lift, then you should absolutely give the dior show mascara a try. 5. Body Hair
I hate to say it, but most guys still have a problem with women keeping their body hair. Hopefully attitudes on this subject are starting to change, but for now, hairy legs etc. are still something that aren’t looked on too fondly.

6. Dry Skin
If a guy gets up and close and personal with a girl, he doesn’t really want to be greeted with dry, flaky skin. Thankfully, this is something that can be rectified with a plethora of available skincare products!
7. Bad Breath
I mean, this is another one that definitely crosses the boundary for both men and women! Just be mindful of your own breath and how it smells, it’s an easy fix.
8. Thick Lip Liner
Once again, the mysteries of makeup can confuse a man here. If you have a particularly thick lip liner on, he will notice something different but won’t be able to identify it, which will lead to confusion rather than attraction.
9. Too Much Perfume
In exactly the same way that we don’t like it when guys are swimming in cologne, they also don’t like it when their senses are attacked by us wearing too much perfume.
10. Public Grooming
Guys prefer you to be fully into them when you are out on a date, and they find it super unattractive when you spend more time grooming yourself and topping up makeup. Just live in the moment!
