I am always on the lookout for tricks for whiter teeth. I think that a smile can be beautiful but even more so when the person smiling has stunning white teeth. I can personally attest that they work and I receive many compliments on my smile, including from my dentist.

1

Practice Good Dental Hygiene

The very first of the tricks for whiter teeth that you need to follow is to practice good dental hygiene. You cannot expect to have a beautiful smile if you don’t perform the daily dental hygiene needed. Brush 2-3 times a day, floss daily and use a good cleansing rinse. Don’t forget to visit your dentist regularly as well. Not only does it keep your teeth well cared for but it makes them look better, too.

2

Brush with a Whitening Toothpaste

It really does matter what toothpaste you use. Don’t even think of using one that doesn’t measure up to standard in caring for your teeth and preventing cavities. Beyond that, you have a lot of options available to choose from. Whitening toothpastes are a big business. My personal favorite is Crest Vivid White. I have been using this one for years with great results.

3

Wear a Blue Based Lipstick

Your lipstick really can make a difference in how white your teeth appear. What you want to avoid is lipstick with an orange base. This does not mean that you cannot wear reds but choose a blue based red. Any lipstick with a blue base is going to make your teeth look whiter. If you are unsure what a blue based lipstick looks like, do a little research online.

4

Try Crest Whitestrips

Ah, Crest Whitestrips. They are my biggest weapon in the battle for whiter teeth. There are many different choices in the Whitestrips line but my favorite is still the basic box of Whitestrips. They are super easy to use and have great results. One little tip, though, use some fluoride while you are bleaching because the Whitestrips can cause tooth sensitivity.

5

Avoid Foods That Stain

Learning and avoiding foods that stain teeth is very helpful in keeping your teeth gorgeously white. You want to avoid coffee, tea and cola. Red wine is also a big no-no when it comes to white teeth. If you are going to have wine, pair it with some cheese. Cheese has been proven to help prevent stains so the red wine should not do as much damage when you have it with cheese.

Famous Quotes

Love is like a friendship caught on fire. In the beginning a flame, very pretty, often hot and fierce, but still only light and flickering. As love grows older, our hearts mature and our love becomes as coals, deep-burning and unquenchable.

Chew Sugarless Gum

Sugarless gum can help you to have whiter teeth. It works by increasing your saliva production. The extra saliva washes off the foods and beverages left on your teeth. Stash a pack in your purse and maybe in your desk at work. This is one of the easiest and tastiest ways to get a whiter smile.

Talk to Your Dentist

If you have tried all of these steps and you haven’t gotten the results that you are searching for then it may be time to talk to your dentist. Your dentist may have recommendations of other products you can try to get whiter teeth. My dentist always has a lot of great recommendations on how to whiten and how to do so safely. They can also do professional whitening for you if that is an option that you want to consider. This may or may not be covered by your insurance so that is something you would want to look into before making your decision.

There are a lot of steps you can take to have a more brilliant smile. What products have you found to be best at whitening? What tricks do you use for your whitest smile?

Oil pulling is a great way to whiten teeth naturally

dipping your already toothpasted hairbrush into baking soda a few times a week is also good. i would steer clear of sugarless gum containing aspartame, a chemically altered sugar that causes tons of health problems

At the local pharmacy you can buy crest 100% fluoride toothpaste, and use this with baking soda or after any whiting gel your dentist recommends- it also help if you use the three part system mentioned, use toothpaste & floss, then a good rinsing agent that IMHO should replace/repair enamel and then crest whiting strips or gel. Don\'t use 100% fluoride every day!

Crest white strips destroy your enamel because they basically cover ur teeth in bleach

Thanx x

Lemon or Lime baking soda. You mix it to create a paste and then use 2 a week for a brighter smile! The acidic molecules help target stains, & whiten the teeth !

chewing gum makes one side of your face more muscular than the other...if you are going into/already a model, DONT CHEW GUM!

Coconut oil! Best cure out there! Amazing for oral health as well with its anti microbial properties! All natural too!!
