Here's the lowdown: If you're taking a picture while sitting, make sure you cross your legs, rest an arm over them, and push yourself forward a bit. Meanwhile, if you're taking a headshot, you should take a deep breath and smile as you exhale.

If you take a full body shot instead, then you should bend one knee and pop your hip out. You can even take a candid photo by crossing your arms and pretending you have no idea a camera is in the area.
