Here's How to Get Your Teeth Whiter in 2 Mins ...

Eliza May 19, 2015

White teeth just look healthier and more attractive than yellowed ones. Sadly, life gets in the way of your gleaming teeth all the time. Drinking coffee, tea or wine is a common reason why many women report having less than bright teeth. It doesn’t take long to solve the problem though, because there are several things you can do get whiter teeth, even if it’s just by using tricks to make them appear so until you can see your dentist for a polish.

1. Stop Sipping

Just kidding! No, I’m not suggesting giving up your favorite drink. I love unsweetened iced tea and drink it all day. However, if you switch to a straw, you keep a lot of the beverage from bathing your teeth, which can stop future staining and keep your freshly cleaned pearly whites gleaming for much longer.

2. Try a Specialty Mouthwash

Good old Listerine might not be the answer anymore. Many tooth care companies have debuted extra strength mouthwashes that contain extra fluoride, which strengthens enamel, helping repel stains and dark spots. Check with your dentist before using this product because too much fluoride can be a problem for some people.

3. Look for Silica

In your toothpaste, that is! This ingredient is gentle on your teeth, but with more abrasion than your standard ingredients. What does that mean for your teeth? That extra scrubbing helps remove surface stains and won’t take any more time than grabbing your standard toothpaste off the shelf at the supermarket. I told you this was going to be easy!

4. Wait to Brush

Experts say you should wait about 30 minutes after you finish a meal to brush. This is because the enamel on your teeth is at is weakest after you eat. Brushing right away can thin that enamel, leading to stains on your teeth. Waiting helps preserve the enamel and the white brightness of your chompers.

5. Pop a Piece of Gum

There are many kinds of gum that promise to whiten your teeth. They aren’t going to do the job that your professional cleaning will, but they can keep things maintained between appointments. Gum also increases the amount of saliva in your mouth, which helps slough stain-causing particles from your teeth while you chew.

6. Start Wearing Bronzer

If you aren’t already brushing on bronzer each day, now is the time to start. When you add a little color to your skin, it naturally makes your teeth gleam. And it only takes about a minute or less to get it on right. If you don’t want to wear bronzer, try a tinted moisturizer to get the same effect.

7. Choose Blue Lipstick

No, not actual blue. Experts say that red lipsticks with a blue undertone are an easy way to brighten your teeth with virtually no effort. This works because the blue in the lipstick and the yellow of your teeth are on opposite sides of the color wheel so they tend to balance each other out. Try it – you’ll see what I mean!

How do you keep your teeth white without spending a ton of time? Are you going to try one of these tips?

I will definitely try these. I brush my teeth with baking soda thrice a week. It works magic! Probably up on the list with duct tape!

I love it

What does bronzer have to do with it 😐

Nice tips thanks

Try using a bit of baking soda when brushing your teeth...or peroxide (low %, meant for your mouth) is okay too. Sometimes I use those in the place of toothpaste, BUT not in the morning, if I see a stain~I've heard of using lemons, a slice and rubbing it on our teeth. Lemons are acidic and corrosive uncertain however heard they work. A straw in your drink on a regular basis, all the time, will cause fine lines to form, used to drink from a straw, no more! Drink and swoosh your teeth/mouth with water, and as the article states don't brush right away! Good pointers, lipstick is a great idea, duh never thought of that!!!

Oil pulling : put any type of oil in your mouth and swish it around for a couple of minutes.then spit out.best works at night after you have brushed your teeth

do NOT use lemon, baking soda, or peroxide on your teeth. These things damage enamel which you cannot get back. If you want whiter teeth, go to your dentist or use whitening strips. Teeth are not something you want to mess up with DIY's. You only have one set once you're an adult. Do you really want to risk loosing them before you're at an older age?

The only problem is that when you constantly drink from a straw, you risk getting wrinkles and lines around your mouth! Otherwise, good tips.

It says in 2 mins but how am i meant to do 1 of these in 2 mins ??? xx
