1. Try Antiperspirants with Aluminum Chloride

One of the easiest ways to fight excessive sweat is to try an antiperspirant made especially for excessive sweating like Certain Dri, Gillette Clinical Strength or Drysol. All of these antiperspirants are made specifically for those who sweat excessively and contain the metal aluminum chloride. If you haven’t had much luck with other over-the-counter antiperspirants, you might want to give one of these a try. One thing to keep in mind is that aluminum in antiperspirants can cause skin irritation or cause a serious allergic reaction so make sure you aren’t allergic before you try these out. There is also a risk of aluminum toxicity if these products are used in high concentration such as eating or inhaling it which can cause nerve or kidney damage and osteomalacia which has been linked to Alzheimer’s or breast cancer so although you’re highly unlikely to eat or inhale it in high concentrations, if you want to stay on the safe side, stick to sticks made without aluminum!

2. Get to Know Sage

Combat excessive sweat with the astringent herb, Sage! Sage can be used in a variety of ways to help your body stay cool and dry such as applying it topically, drinking it or eating it. Look for Sage leaves online to add to foods or look for tea bags to make the tea and apply it to your skin. Being consistent with consuming Sage is important! Many people reported good results but you have to keep at it. Sage tea is also great for fighting diabetes, cleaning up free radicals, boosting memory and reducing anxiety among other things so you can use it to help with numerous things!

If you love your sodas or coffee and relish your daily glass of wine, I hate to say it but you might need to choose your drinks or staying dry.

6. Enrich Your Diet with B Complex Vitamins

Combat excessive sweating by eating foods that contain B complex vitamins which help your body break down and rid itself of toxins and rubbish. Incorporate lots of fresh fruit and veggies, whole grains and lean proteins such as beans, eggs and fish. You can also pop a B complex supplement if you don’t get enough of those four foods on a regular basis. B complex vitamins are also helpful in dealing with symptoms of anxiety, depression, PMS and fatigue!

7. Avoid Spices

Avoiding spicy foods and even onions and garlic is a great way to fight excessive sweat. Onions and garlic can come out through sweat so if you’re an onion or garlic lover or maybe even both, try cutting back to see if there’s a difference. Spices and hot sauce can also cause your internal temperature to rise and trigger sweating so use those ingredients on occasion and fill up on foods like dairy, seafood and seaweed to cool your body!

Remember that sometimes excessive sweat can be a cause of something else rather than hyperhidrosis so be sure you check in with your doctor before you take the situation in your own hands to be sure!

I sweat a lot in my armpits even when I wear good deodorant like secret, dove, degree, they all don't work. Sure they make it so that my sweat doesn't smell but they don't stop the wet marks from appearing from under my arms and it's embarrassing. I have to constantly yet nonchalantly check my armpit to make sure it's not sweaty. It's only been going on for a little while but no matter the temperature I still sweat. I'm cold and I sweat. It doesn't make sense. Please help
