1. Facial Scrub

Yes, one of the best beauty uses for baking soda is a facial scrub. By mixing water and baking soda you create a paste that is perfect to exfoliate your skin. You will need 3 parts baking soda to one part water. I bet baking soda is at least 10 times cheaper than your current facial scrub.

2. Remove Hair Product Buildup

If you use several different hair products you may be interested in this next one. Adding baking soda to your shampoo is a great way to get rid of buildup. Use equal parts shampoo and baking soda for best results. I can see how this would really work. The coarseness of the baking soda will help break down and remove product buildup from your hair.

3. Clean Your Brushes

Just as baking soda works to remove buildup on our heads, it can also remove buildup on our brushes and combs. All you need is warm water and baking soda mixed together. Rub the paste around the brush or comb and rinse clean.

4. Cuticle Softener

Did you know you can use baking soda to soften your cuticles? It’s true. Add a little bit of baking soda and water paste to your nail brush or an old tooth brush. Rub the mixture into your cuticles, scrubbing gently. The mixture will soften and exfoliate your cuticles.

If you're in the relentless hunt for the perfect mascara, that not only volumizes but also gives your lashes the much-needed lift, then you should absolutely give the dior show mascara a try. It's undeniably one of the best mascaras that guarantees both length and volume while leaving no clumps behind.

5. Foot Soak

Baking soda is also good for a foot soak. Add 3 tablespoons of baking soda into a tub of warm water. Let your feet soak while the water cools. The baking soda will soften and relax your feet. Be sure to follow up with a nice at-home pedicure.

6. Zit Treatment

Have you tried baking soda to help with pimples? Some believe a little baking soda mixed with lemon juice will do the trick. All you have to do is make a paste and apply it to your pimples. Let it dry and wash it off later. Your blemish should fade away quicker than normal if you use this trick. Who needs over priced zit creams when you have baking soda?

7. Blackhead Scrub

Baking soda is also great to use as a facial scrub to remove blackheads. The coarseness of the baking soda helps the clear clogged pores. Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with 1/4 cup of milk and rub into your skin. Rinse off and see the results for yourself. Feel free to repeat if needed.

Have you ever used baking soda as part of your beauty regimen? I bet you are like me and can't wait to give some of these beauty uses for baking soda a try. Which will you try first? Baking soda & water will dry out your face if you have sensitive skin. Same with lemon juice. I use coconut oil & baking soda.

Hi ladies, Just be careful not to overuse baking soda for teeth whitening. It is abrasive and can harm the enamel when u use it too often.
