7 of the Most Popular Beauty Comebacks ...

Trends of the past have been making their beauty comebacks! As girls, we all know that the fashion world is always changing. Trends come and go and sometimes it can be hard to keep up! These looks were all famous trends once and I’m happy to be trying them all again! Take a look at 7 of the most popular beauty comebacks.

1 Scarlet Lips

Scarlet Lips Topping the list of beauty comebacks is the scarlet lip. Red carpets in the 50s were home to beautiful actresses who rocked the bold look. Now, it’s officially making it’s comeback and I couldn’t be happier about it. A bold scarlet lip is the perfect way to spice up your look without coming off as trying too hard. It’s a totally arresting look and will be sure to make people do a double take! This is one look I’m totally happy to be trying.

2 Hippie Hair

Hippie Hair It’s no surprise that the sixties are coming back in full circle. With the flower-headband phase currently going on, the hippie hair is making its return! If you don’t know what this looks like, it’s the whole "natural, no-fuss, long and flowy" look. It totally makes you look like the sweetest girl around and makes you look very approachable. I’m a big fan of this look and am even guilty of pairing it with floral headbands!

3 Winged Eyeliner

Winged Eyeliner Eyeliner has always been a big part of a girl’s daily makeup routine. I love the winged liner look but always fail when I try it, so kudos to all you girls who have mastered this look! It’s another look from the 60s that is making its way back to modern fashion. A flick of liquid liner at the outer corners of your eye is ridiculously cute and flirty. My favorite celebrity who aces this look is Lauren Conrad! If you love it but haven’t mastered it yet, practice makes perfect!

4 Thick Brows

Thick Brows When Brooke Shields stepped onto the scene, her major brows were a big part of what made her stand out. This look of hers had her on billboards and ads everywhere! The look soon went away and we all got used to the perfectly plucked, skinny arches of eyebrows everywhere. Now, the major brows from the 80s is making a comeback. Actresses like Lily Collins, Camilla Belle, and model Cara Delevingne are making the thick brows something every girl wants. I might even go for it!

5 Neon Lips

Neon Lips Fluorescent makeup is totally a fashion "do" right now! This 80s look, formerly the stuff of Cyndi Lauper and the Pop Queen Madonna, is now a girls-night-out must. I loved seeing this trend all summer long; it’s such a fun pop to any outfit! Bright colors like pinks, purples, and oranges look great with any skin tone. My favorite actress who’s rocked this look on the red carpet is Emma Stone. She’s bringing this 80s look back to life!

6 The Flapper Bob

The Flapper Bob If you’re anything like me, you’re obsessed with the looks from the 20s. After watching The Great Gatsby, I couldn’t help but notice how many A-listers were rocking the flapper bob! The short, wavy look has become iconic and very classy. I love how simple and chic the entire look is. I think with the right eye makeup, this beauty comeback is a smoldering hit.

7 The Top Knot

The Top Knot One of my favorite fashion icons is definitely Audrey Hepburn. I love her classic style in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and even though it’s been decades since she’s debuted her tiara-adorned updo in the movie, it’s not the last time we’ve seen it. The top knot is one of my go-to looks whenever I didn’t put much effort into my appearance, but want to make it seem like I did. Nowadays, it’s known as the sock bun, and it’s a really easy look to pull off! The Audrey-inspired bun is a beauty comeback I’m very happy about.

That’s 7 of the most popular beauty comebacks! I’m sure, in time, a lot of the trends that are in will be gone and resurface in a couple of years/decades. I’m really happy with the current trends, though. Have you rocked any of these looks recently?

Not everyone can have thick eye brows ,it only looks goods on some ppl but I habe to say even with thick eye brows we have to keep it clean and give it a bit shape other wise it looks manly

I love #4. Girls always over pluck and then try to draw them back on, but it's never the same. I don't pluck at all but I'm blessed with naturally shapely eyebrows. 😉

I love naturally full brows! When groomed properly and not over plucked or over waxed they can really make the face look more youthful and polished without much eye makeup at all

I hate thick eyebrows. There's a certain point when they are too thick & actually kind of manly. I don't think it's flattering at all.
