1. Essential Oils

Essential Oils Turn your regular bath into a treat by adding oils to your bath water. You can opt for any natural oil, such as olive oil or coconut oil. A few drops of these oils will do the trick and leave you with silky soft skin. Using essential oils for aromatic baths will also benefit several conditions like troubled skin, stress, and achy muscles.

2. Bath Salts

Bath Salts Adding a little bath salt in your tub will help you have softer skin. It has an exfoliating effect on your skin and works amazingly well to relax your sore muscles. A nice soak in a specially prepared bathtub will also provide your skin with the moisture it needs to prevent wrinkles and fine lines.

3. Milk

Milk Drinking milk is beneficial for your health, but you can add it to your bath to be even more beautiful. Milk contains vitamins, fats, and proteins, and t hydrates your skin when added to lukewarm bathwater. A couple of cups of whole milk will do the trick. Be sure to soak for 15-20 minutes to make your skin soft and supple.

4. Honey

Honey One of the best things to add to your bath is honey. It is antibacterial and adds moisture to your parched skin. You simply need to add a couple of cups of honey to a running bath to enjoy body-smoothing bliss. Soak for 15-20 minutes for better effects.

5. Herbs

Herbs Bathing in herb-scented water is great for cleansing, but it offers several other benefits. It helps soothe the skin, reduce stress, and proves to be a relaxing experience. You can even select certain herbs for their therapeutic effects, such as soothing muscles, drawing out infection, and stimulating circulation. You can simply tie dried herbs like lavender, mint, chamomile, or rosemary in cheesecloth and use it directly under running water.

6. Tea

Tea You can make strong herbal teas and add it to your bathwater. Soaking in it for half an hour will help detoxify your skin. You can opt for different herbal teas, such as peppermint tea and green tea. Consider using chamomile because its gentle smell will waft away your stress. Using chamomile directly in the bath water is equally beneficial for fussy babies as well as the frazzled mom.

7. Oatmeal

Oatmeal Are you looking for an effective treatment for skin allergies, itchy skin, dry skin, or even chickenpox? Try an oatmeal bath! You simply need to add a cup of oatmeal to running water and soak in it for about 15 minutes for great effects.

8. Baking Soda

Baking Soda It is hard to find a safer, easier, and cheaper way to sooth your irritated skin than adding some baking soda in your bathwater. It also helps detoxify your body and is an effective pain reliever.

9. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar You no longer need to worry about using chemical-rich products to treat your sunburns. All you have to do is add some apple cider vinegar to your bath and soak for a few minutes, preferably 10 minutes, to alleviate discomfort from the effects of the sun. It works great to eliminate toxins from your body, leaving behind smooth, moisturized skin.

10. Red Wine

Where Thoughts and Opinions Converge

Why on earth would you put "a couple cups" of honey?

Highly recommend hibiscus oil and coconut oil or salt! Chai tea is great too bc the caffeine can tighten up your skin and make it really soft!

My sister puts Epsom salt in her bath sometimes, and it releases unneeded water from your body which can help you to lose weight

Does it work the same way if I drink the red wine while bathing, instead of adding it to the water? 😁

I add rose extract to my baths it makes it smell lovely!! Does it actually have any benefits?? Xx

@ K8_Sheard i was wondering the same... Hahaha
