1. Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner was one of my favourite AMA beauty looks this year. The new face of Estee Lauder showed off her striking complexion, teamed with a futuristic silver smokey eye, simple silver earrings and a shiny nude lip. Definitely try dewy skin and a statement eye this year – and I’m loving that super-straight parting, too!

2. Lucy Hale

I LOVE this. From the tousled ombre hair to the side parting, her hair is just spot on, and that berry lip couldn’t be any more on trend. Teamed with shiny stud earrings and long black lashes, Lucy went for something simple yet utterly striking, and totally copyable. Grab yourself a dark berry lipstick today!

3. Gigi Hadid

Gigi’s outfit got more column inches than her make-up, with the Pirelli calendar girl exposing her black lacy bra in a thick, low-cut jacket, and a long simple necklace. To tone the look down, she wore her hair in loose waves, and wore very light make-up. Some light blusher, a bronze smoky eye and lipgloss kept it simple, and finished off her whole outfit. If you’ve got a striking party dress, try teaming it with casual make-up. A new season hit.

4. Nicki Minaj

Anaconda-hitmaker Nicki is certainly the lady of the moment, and her AMA look was a lot different to expectations. The rapper covered up her curves in a sleeveless, high-neck black shift dress, and kept her hair dark black and completely straight. There was no dark make-up behind her trademark black eyelashes, and she even opted for a toned-down pastel pink lip. Grab your shine spray and your best mascara, and you’ll have this look DOWN.

5. Rita Ora

Rita Ora went for a more classic look, matching her make up to her dress. The difference? She was wearing a neon yellow assymetric gown! Beautiful metal earrings, bright yellow eye-shadow, statement black eyelashes and light pink lipstick were perfect, and she topped it all off with a perfect top-knot. Go for neon this year!

6. Selena Gomez

Selena bucked the trend for stud earrings, rocking a pair of geometric red danglers. She highlighted them further by pulling her dark hair back into a smooth ponytail, and opting for an off-shoulder black jumper. Lots of black mascara and a dark red lip that matches those statement earrings finishes the look, making Selena look classic and timeless. This will look just as brilliant in ten years as it does tonight. Great if your work Christmas party photos haunt you for years!

7. Taylor Swift

Taylor rocked her side-swept fringe and blonde waves to perform at the show, teamed with shimmery bronze eyeshadow and a matte red lipstick. It wasn’t just her make-up that looked amazing, either…she teamed the whole look with a 1920’s styled glitzy dress, which is so 2014. Definitely a look to steal.

8. Noah Cyrus

Who is this fresh-faced starlet? Noah Cyrus – sister of ever-shocking Miley. Noah set herself apart from her chaos-causing big sis by choosing a black mini dress with a classy lace overlay, wearing her hair swept back, and keeping her make-up very natural. Bronzer, mascara and lipgloss is all she needs! And just look how it brings out those glassy eyes. If you’ve got statement eyes, this should be top of the AMA beauty looks pile for you!
